In the course of providing user and usage data analytics Services to our customers, Reputon collects both non-personally identifiable and personally identifiable information about end users of Customer Sites. Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) collected by Reputon includes data such as your name, address, phone number, or email address, which you have provided to the Customer Site. Reputon will not collect your password for any Customer Site or credit card information you have supplied to any Customer Site. We do not purchase or receive information about you from third parties (other than our customers).
Reputon also collects non-personally identifiable information about you from Customer Sites you visit, including the following types of data:
Standard Data – common information found in every communication sent over the internet. Using this information, Reputon can infer information such as browser type (e.g., Chrome or Internet Explorer); operating system (e.g,. Macintosh or Windows); browser language (e.g., Java or Unix); and internet service provider (e.g., Verizon Fios or AOL)
Clickstream Data – Reputon can infer how you use our Customer Sites and various pages on the internet.
Reputon may use this PII and non-personally identifiable information to provide our Services to our customers.
Aggregated Personal Information: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Services, Reputon often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Information and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Reputon may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. Reputon may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes. We partner with third parties that collect information across various channels, including offline and online, for purposes of delivering more relevant advertising to you. We may share personal information with them if you have submitted such information to us, such as your email address, solely in hashed, or non-human readable form. Our partners may link the personal information we share with them to the cookie stored on your browser or device, and they may collect information such as your IP address, browser or operating system type and version, and demographic or inferred-interest information. Our partners use this information to recognize you across different channels and platforms over time for advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes.
Cookies set on behalf of Reputon expire after three years and the expiration date updates every time you encounter our server. Reputon retains standard web log data 10 years after you visit a Customer Site, and aggregations and reports for up to 20 years after you visit a Customer Site.
The process for individual internet users to review and/or request changes to their PII collected by Reputon is outlined in the Additional Policies section below.
This section describes our policies for end users of the Reputon Site and Services, Reputon customers, and corporate partners.
We receive and store any information you enter on the Site or through the Services or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use PII provided by you for such purposes as responding to your requests for Services, customizing the content you see, communicating with you about our products, and marketing our Services to you.
In order for you to use all of our features, you must register with Reputon. We require your e-mail address and password during the registration process. Further information may be required if you choose to purchase paid components of the Services, such as credit card and billing information. Reputon uses third party partners for credit card processing who may require and store your credit card and billing information.
If you purchase Reputon’s online tools to collect and analyze user and usage data for your Customer Site through the Site or Services, Reputon will communicate with you about the services you purchase by e-mail. You consent to receiving such confirmations by e-mail. If you contact us via e-mail through the Site, we may retain a record of your contact information and any information you provide us in your message to respond to you. We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from Reputon.
To improve our Services, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. Like the information you provide to us, we do not share this information with anyone except authorized third parties in connection with providing you with our Services.
There are certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Information or other information with third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Information may be part of the transferred assets.
Related Companies: We may also share your Personal Information with our affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy.
Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: Reputon, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies or individuals to perform certain business-related functions. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
Legal Requirements: Reputon may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a legal obligation, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Reputon, (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (d) protect against legal
Reputon may provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. We will share customer information that is related to such transactions with those affiliated businesses. Reputon may share aggregated demographic information with customers in connection with the provision of the Services.
For users outside United States, please note that any data or PII you enter into the Services or Site will be transferred out of your country and into United States. You consent to such transfer through your use of the Services and Site. You also warrant that you have the right to transfer such information outside your country and into United States.

When you install the Reputon Apps, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. The kinds of information we access from you are your name, email, country, store name.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from your customers once they complete transactions with you: email, name, order number, item title.

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate Reputon Apps. Additionally, we use this personal information to communicate with you, optimize or improve Reputon Apps and provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We do not share your Personal Information with any third parties. We just collect your personal information to enhance the services, communicate with merchants and help your store to operate effectively.
We will provide services for merchants or customers in Europe. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information is corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
