I installed this because for true GDPR compliance a site must offer the ability to opt out of specific cookie use, this app appeared to do that. It does but ONLY in the paid version! This is not made clear. Given the amount of customer data this app requires to work I'd think they'd give the option to select cookie preferences in the free version... uninstalling and will never use again. Show more

From the below I'm not sure is it works. We need to make sure that only if customer selects "Accept all", or "Tracking" it would then fire the adroll pixel script (or image). How to ensure that. Also, why even on premium section it (this plugin) is full of your spammy ads. Looks cheap. Here are some tips to make sure your custom consent banner works effectively with AdRoll. - Consent must be given before the pixel fires. - Be visible and easy to read. - State that cookies (technology) are being used for the purpose of advertising. - Mention "NextRoll". - Custom Consent Banner must be IAB TCFv2.0 compliant. - Have similarly sized and located accept and decline buttons. - Enable visitors to easily change consent settings. - Collect consent prior to collecting more visitor data. All good so far. Seems a light weight and easy to implement solution. I had a couple of questions to the team which were all answered in no time. Good app, good team. Update: The app made an update (I was not aware) and unfortunately the update changed the layout of my collection pages. After investigating with -Shopify and the theme developer they concluded it had to be GDPR App from Hulk. I contacted Hulk a couple of times on this but the response I got repeatedly was that they don't find / see any issue (despite the evidence the theme developer provided). I deleted the GDPR App and all was good again. Show more
