There are two ways to add Amazon reviews to a Shopify store: a reviews widget that shows your Amazon seller feedback and product reviews and keeps them updated, or a one-time CSV import into a product reviews app. The widget is faster: about five minutes, no code, and no manual exports later.

Which method fits your store

Amazon has no export button for reviews and no public embed code, so both methods go through an app. They differ in what they show and how they stay up to date.

Methodology: facts from each app's Shopify App Store listing and official help docs, checked October 2026. Reputon develops Amazon Reviews.

Before you start

  • Your Amazon Seller ID (Merchant Token) for seller feedback. In Seller Central, open Settings, then Account Info, then Business Information, then Merchant Token.
  • ASINs of the products whose reviews you want to show. The ASIN is in the product details section on Amazon and in the product URL.
  • An Online Store 2.0 theme to add widgets as app blocks. On a vintage theme, see how to add a widget manually.

Method 1: Show Amazon reviews with a widget

  1. Install Amazon Reviews by Reputon from the Shopify App Store and start the 7-day free trial.
  2. Connect your Amazon store. Paste your Seller ID in the app. Seller feedback loads right away.
  3. Add product reviews. Enter the ASIN of a product to create a product reviews widget. Make one widget per product you want to cover.
  4. Pick a layout and style it. Choose a carousel, list, slider or badge, then set colors, sorting by date or relevance, and whether to hide reviews without text.
  5. Place the widget. In the Shopify theme editor, add the Amazon Reviews app block to the homepage or to the matching product page template, then save.

Seller feedback then syncs automatically every 24 hours. Product reviews are refreshed from the app when you update them, so check them after a busy sales period. Each widget shows up to 50 reviews.

Method 2: Import Amazon reviews into a product reviews app

If you already use a product reviews app, you can copy Amazon reviews into it. In Judge.me, for example, you export reviews with a third-party Chrome extension, then upload the CSV in Settings, then Integrations, then Amazon review importer (Judge.me Help, August 2026).

Keep the limits in mind:

  • The import is a copy. New Amazon reviews don't appear until you export and upload again.
  • Judge.me marks imported Amazon reviews as unverified, and they are not sent to your Google Shopping reviews feed.
  • The extension Judge.me recommends exports up to 20 reviews at a time on its free plan.
  • Only product reviews are imported. Your Amazon seller feedback stays on Amazon.

This method suits a one-time move of reviews, for example when you launch a product on Shopify that already sells on Amazon and you plan to collect new reviews on your own store from then on.

Where to place Amazon reviews on your store

  • Homepage: a carousel with seller feedback. New visitors see right away that you are an established seller.
  • Product pages: product reviews of the same ASIN, close to the Add to cart button, where shoppers decide.
  • Header, footer or next to the price: a compact badge with your Amazon rating. It takes little space and stays visible on every page.

Amazon reviews not showing on Shopify? Check these

  • The widget is created but not on the store. It still needs to be added as an app block in the theme editor, and the theme must be saved.
  • Reviews show on the wrong product. Check the ASIN in the widget settings and that the widget sits on the matching product template.
  • New product reviews are missing. Seller feedback updates every 24 hours, product reviews are refreshed when you update them in the app.
  • Nothing loads at all. Make sure the Seller ID is the Merchant Token from Seller Central, not your store name. If it still fails, our support team answers 24/7 in the app chat.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Amazon seller feedback and product reviews?â–¼
Seller feedback rates you as a seller: shipping, packaging and service. Product reviews rate a specific item by its ASIN. Most stores show both: seller feedback builds trust in the brand, product reviews answer questions about the item.
Can I show different Amazon reviews on each product page?â–¼
Yes. Create a product reviews widget for each ASIN and place it on the product page of the same item. Products without a widget simply don't show Amazon reviews.
Do I need an Amazon seller account to show Amazon reviews?â–¼
For seller feedback, yes: the app connects by your own Seller ID. Product reviews are added by ASIN, so they should be the products you actually sell on your Shopify store.
Can I copy Amazon reviews into Shopify by hand?â–¼
You can paste a few reviews into a page or a testimonials section, but it doesn't scale: there are no star ratings in a consistent format, no updates, and you have to repeat the work for every new review.
How much does it cost to show Amazon reviews on Shopify?â–¼
Amazon Reviews by Reputon costs $5.99 per month or $53.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. All features, including seller feedback, product reviews and an AI summary card, are in one plan.
