This company is probably the most annoying company in the Shopify eco-system. I don't know how many times I've had to ask to be removed from their marketing and sales emails before their sales reps will leave me alone. There are several reason I would recommend against YotPo: 1 - Predatory contracts - They promise you the world, lock you into a contract for 12 months, and by the time you realize there are other companies that have the exact same functionality, you're too late and locked in paying 4-5x the cost of the competition. 2 - The worlds most annyoing sales reps. No, I don't want to buy the overpriced software that you sell on yearly contracts. 3 - Insanely overpriced for the same features. I'm not really sure what people are even paying for here that they anyone is still paying this company as much as they are for the same features. I'd highly recommend looking at Stamped or any of the other services that offer reviews. You'll get the same features (anyone at Yotpo who says its better may be partially right, but you're paying 5x for 1 minor feature that will yield maybe 2% better results at best). This isn't a paid smear campaign, I just honestly don't know what else to do to get them to block my email from their system as I've asked and even threatened legal action with no results. Show more

After six months, I strongly do not recommend Yotpo. It's a subpar product that is clunky and all over the place. Their admin interface is mismatched and terrible. Its waaay overpriced. Their outside marketing looks good, but once under the hood, you'll regret it. Show more

One of the worst apps I've ever used in my experience on Shopify. Typically I don't leave reviews, but this was frustrating. The product was highly bugged and the interface was never properly updated. Customer service was excellent, and of course, I'm the bad apple of the bunch, but nonetheless, you can't overcome a bad product. UI/UX probably needs a major overhaul. Show more

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU DURING THE INITIAL ONBOARDING CALL - FEATURES THEY PROMISE DON'T ACTUALLY EXIST After having used the app for only a few days I have now discovered the 3rd feature that was confirmed to exist during the onboarding call - which in reality is not actually available. It turns out the Yotpo sales rep has been lying through his teeth to get me signed. When explaining what some of the issues with our previous subscription service were - he literally had a solution for every single problem, all of our headaches were promised to be resolved by switching to Yotpo because their tool supposedly is more sophisticated than any other subscription service. BS! - migration took almost 6 weeks from when the agreement was signed - although the sales rep promised everything will be completed in no more than 48hrs - they don't allow you to send your self test emails - they have very limited notifications that can be sent to customers - there is no option for a customised notification. Just to give one example: should a customer decide to pause their subscription no notification is being triggered. They have a simple "Welcome" and "subscription cancelled" notification. Very limited - we've had issues with deliverability of Yotpo email notifications - it took several days to receive CNAME records - several days later we still have not received confirmation from their end that our domain is now authenticated on their end - the Yotpo Dashboard doesn't even contain the most important number - Revenue created during any given time? They argue that it's more convenient to have this number within the Shopify Analytics section instead. If you want to look up stats for the previous month for example you can find average order value for subscriptions, number of subscription orders etc all within the Yotpo Dashboard. But you then have to exit the screen move back to Shopify and dig into your analytics in order to see how much revenue was actually created through subscriptions. Seems very logical and saves everyone a lot of time and effort (not). I'm running out of enthusiasm to keep going but trust me the list of lies and missing features is long Show more

Awful. You can't see how the app would show in-store. When you want to delete it, you have to give Yotpo permission. Very hard to use and even harder to get rid of Show more
